About Brittany

First thing to know about me: I trust in your inherent wisdom and ability to change your life in the ways you hope. And it is my absolute privilege to be alongside you.

I’ve worked with Professionals and Millennials at universities and nonprofits on three continents. I create a warm, non-judging relationship for sharing your story and reflecting about what fulfills you. Clients say I am a calming & validating presence and offer helpful challenge while with you in the thick of things.

You know more about you than anyone else ever will. It’s my honor to be with you as a support and guide, tuning into what you already know plus learning new skills and vast insights. I hold bravery and hope for my clients when it’s hard to do so themselves, and my clients ultimately see their goals come to life.

From my social work degree (think: psychology, social justice, systems of oppression) and working a decade with highly diverse clientele, including in the Middle East and East Africa, I strive to be culturally responsive and affirming for all my clients of color, in the LGBTQ+ community, and/or who hold other marginalized, intersecting identities.

Like you, I am a feeler– it makes sense that I do this work! I love working with emotions because they have so much to tell us about our needs and our life. If emotions or the darker depths of life are new territory for you, trust me: I’ve got your back and we’ll go slowly yet purposefully– where instead of floodgates, you glean relief and understanding. Therapy will help heal the old wounds you carry.

Along with all my clinical education you can read about below, I love bringing to sessions a bit of humor, the occasional swear word, and probably my Chacos.

Education & Credentials

Professional development is crucial to me. The field & science of psychology evolve constantly, and I greatly value lifelong learning especially for the benefit of my clients.
